Hey, if it helps several of my black female friends have dated asian guys. My cousin is married to a Japanese guy and they have 3 children together (two being twins). One of my korean friends told me asian guys don't go for black girls, however, in college I got asked out by several asian guys, and one asian guy out of the blue, told me I was pretty. I joined an AMBW site to support the cause and ended up making friends with a lot of the asian guys on there, who genuinely like black girls, and it's open my eyes to a lot of things. I dated and been in relationships with several asian guys all of whom didn't bring racial ignorance into the relationship. Believe me, there's a bunch of ambw realtionships, however, it may also depend on where you live. I live in an area in MD, which was practically created to promote interracial mixing, and I've seen several ambw married couples with their children around these parts. Plus a couple of my guyfriends, who are asian have dated black girls some for the most part almost exclusively. I don't want to make it sound easy because it's not, that doesn't mean avery asian guy here is gonna want to jump on the bandwagon if you ask them, I'm just saying that's it's prevalent in more areas then you may know. But at the same time I never was looking for a relationship when I met the guys I ended up dating, it just happened, we vibed, talked etc. I also don't limit myself to one race, you can make your decision on that aspect in the end.

Yeah, going around saying your reasons for not dating someone because of their race especially if it's someone of your own race can be viewed as a not loving your own race, thus not loving yourself. Now, if you state that you have a preference based on the guys you tend to date (being asian) that's different.

My closest friends are black, and they used to play those jokes on me, but it was just for fun. Don't take these people too seriously and tell those people to be open minded. That you are your own person and not a slave to the desires and wants of your counterparts. This is America and we are within the new millenium, haven't you seen our president? A product of interracial union.

it's not that i don't im not interested in black men i have a hard time looking for the good ones.

Can you explain me, what people do to you or is it just chatting behind backs about you?
Because I don't know, if is it a situation I know or I don't.

But I think you have to ignore people who talk bad about your interesst, or give an better argument for them, and this is often easy.
Be self confident and ignore them. Many people who talk about others, aren't better.
But it can be, that I don't understand your situation or problem.

gurl i know how u feel same thing happens to me i was talkin to this korean guy a while back and i told my black friend about it and he said " eww wats wrong with u??? he's asian!!!" and i was like wtfreak!!! dats crazi but idc i still like wat i like

I'm not black, but I do know how you feel. I'm strictly into Asian men, I don't find men my own race attractive (at all!). Because of this, I have been called un-American, a Communist (the communist thing doesn't bother me, but I don't know what it has to do with liking Asians ), and people ask me if I was dropped on my head, switched in the hospital (my family asks me that one), etc. I hear it a lot, but it still hurts a bit But like everyone else said, they're just hating because you're not going for someone your own race. Don't let that get you down though, because we all know that Asian men are wayyy sexier

some ppl just wont get out of "that Date your own" age

hey tomo chan. I totally agree with you. You shouldn't be called a commi for not liking men of your own race. or at least you didn't find any guy that is attractive of your own race. *possible*. I'm interested in all sorts of women. People is bound to be attracted to at least someone and that can be outside their race or inside their race or both. If a black woman is attracted to asian men, okay. let her be attracted to asian men. I am sure some asian guy would find black woman attractive also.
